This year, our little family had to make a lot of changes and work around new things. We missed our big family get-together in Rocky Mount because Hollin was sick. Harper came down with a really bad cold on Christmas Eve, so my mom saved the day by staying with him so we could run to church. We had to cancel our Christmas Eve family get-together as well.

We came home and began the magic of Christmas Eve for the kids. I think this is one of the most fun days of the whole year.
Christmas morning is always so much fun but ages 5 and 3 have given us the BEST reactions.

In all the craziness, we only got this one pic of the kids with their G-pa. Harper's fake smile here is just classic.
The Saturday following Christmas would have been another family gathering for closest family to come to Wilmington, but one of them got very sick and is still in the hospital. It's been a season of sickness unfortunately as I keep hearing of more and more people battling the flu.
We hope you had a very Merry Christmas!! Here is to a healthy NEXT Christmas!
