Miss Hollingsworth was 15 months on Jan. 31st!
This girl is a ball of fire and has been since she entered the world. She was rarely still in my belly and nothing has changed!
Hollin, you wear size 3 diapers (may be needing 4s sooner than later) and size 12-18month clothes. You are wearing size 4 shoes. You weigh 22.6 lbs (43th percentile) and you are 31.25 inches tall (74th percentile)
What do you eat? Everything. You do get bored of food easily and start throwing every thing on the floor for Maya to eat. You think it’s so funny to watch her clean up your mess.
You love water, lemonade and sweet tea.
You are SO fast. Grandma taught you to climb the stairs and that is your favorite thing to try to get away with these days.
You sleep through the night, for the most part. Lately, you’ve been waking up at midnight and again at 6am. Most of the time you lost your paci and just need help getting it back. One night last week, you woke up 6 times and it reminded mommy of your newborn days.
She was very tired the next day.
You are saying Mama, Dada, Maya, uh oh, and I think I have heard you try to say hot.
You play Peekaboo and round and round the garden (a game our British family taught us and have passed down to you!)
You love to clap. You love to hang on to the railing at the bottom of the stairs and “dance.”
You love bath time and dunking your face in the water. Sometimes you drink it and mommy doesn’t like that, but you won’t stop.
You freak out when Harper chases you, but you love it too.
You sit on top of Maya and pull chunks of her hair out (she sheds a lot) and she just lets you. You are one of her babies too.
You are right on the verge of 1 nap a day. Sometimes you need 2 naps, sometimes you don’t. Your afternoon nap is usually shorter than your morning one.
When you don’t have an afternoon nap, you are ready for bed not long after 6pm. Everyone thinks mommy is a little crazy to put you to bed so early, but you are ready and it doesn’t bother you. She tries to wait until 6:30pm.
Mommy wasn't sure she wanted to share this, but she will be glad she did one day. Around here, you are known as “Fish Paci.” Sometimes when your paci falls out, it has a fishy smell, especially when you’ve been sleeping with it all night. It’s not really bad, mommy thinks it’s a sweet/stinky smell. She is weird.
You still are not a great traveler. You get bored and start crying/screaming after about 20 minutes, sometimes less.
You love to ride in the cart at Target, until we stop moving. Then you want to get out.
You have CRAZY baby hair and mommy doesn’t know what to do with it. She is being patient while your baby mullet grows out a little bit. No first haircut yet! She loves buying bows for your outfits even though you won’t keep them in.
Mommy is starting to see some of your tantrums, especially when Harper takes anything from you. You have been known to bite.
You are so full of life and make mommy and daddy’s lives so full.
We love you,
