Overpromising and Under-delivering (A Cottage Update too!)

In the words of my former boss, this is kind of how I'm feeling. I keep telling you guys to "stay tuned" or "fun updates coming tomorrow" and then never get to post about them.

So sorry about that. 

The truth is that we are literally days away from my parent's home being finished and ALL of us are doing projects to get it done. That and getting our own home ready for our awesome British family to visit in about three weeks! With Jimmy only off every other weekend, we have to be very strategic with our time. He is handy and brawny and we need him. A lot.

For those that have been following and mostly for our family members back home, here is the progress that has been made so far.  We are planning to request and be granted our Certificate of Occupancy this week! Then, power will be turned on and it will really go into overdrive.

Quick glimpse into the bathroom. Since I took these pics, my dad has installed the toilet, sink and light fixture. It's actually starting to look like a bathroom :)
