Thanksgiving was a blur as always but here is what the Cushing family did in a nutshell!
Mom and dad took both kiddos to Rocky Mount a day early and stayed overnight so that they had ample time to wake up and watch the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.
Yours truly had time to actually put on makeup without being rushed and felt it necessary to document such occasion. I was loving my red lip although my mom told me she is not a fan. (Thanks ma.)
We drove to meet them in Rocky Mount and had lunch with the family, minus a few who were working. There were no time for pictures, the kids were having way too much fun with their cousins.
We ate and then jumped back in the car to drive 2 1/2 hours back to Wilmington for T-day dinner.
This year, Jimmy's dad treated us to an amazing family-style dinner at a local restaurant. It was delicious and easy for everyone!
The next day, Jimmy had to work so we stayed home, cooked, cleaned and watched TV. Not too shabby :)
